RESPONSIBLE RECYCLING
With more than 300 outlets throughout Norway, a complete facelift of all stores can take its toll on any budget. And Vinmonopolet’s is no exception. Thus, part of the challenge in developing Vinmonopolet’s new store concept was to recycle part of their existing shopfittings and incorporate them in a new design.

SUSTAINABLE CONCEPTUALIZATION
From the very first moodboards and sketches to the finished concept, we work closely with Vinmonopol's project managers on the store design. A crucial vision for Vinmonopolet was the recycling of existing store fixtures. Partly from a sustainability perspective with consideration for resources and raw materials, but clearly also based on common sense and cost consciousness.

STYLISH DESIGN FOR CRAFT BEER
Expedit share a long history with Vinmonopolet as their style guide and shop builder. A collaboration that has spawned hundreds of stores over the years. That's why Expedit was invited to participate in the concept and product development of their new oak and steel concept, which stylishly incorporates refrigerated craft beer into the chain’s existing product range.
“IN ORDER TO SUCCEED ON SUCH A HUGE TASK, INVOLVING SEVERAL HUNDRED SHOPS, YOU NEED TO DEVELOP THE SOLUTION IN CLOSE COOPERATION WITH THE CUSTOMER”
Fredrik Hammarsten, Sales Director, Expedit Norway

CLOSE COLLABORATION PAYS OFF
We delivered a store concept with a visual expression leveraging the chain’s ambition to let colors, surfaces and materials perfectly match existing interior elements, thus creating a stylish and inspirational buying experience.
